ISM-ISPS-MLC Lead Auditor ISO 19011:2026 – Online Course –

The objective of this course is to develop the knowledge, skills, and practical competencies required to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on internal audits of an organization’s management systems in accordance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, and the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC, 2006).

Upon successful completion, participants will have the confidence and competence to perform effective internal audits using internationally recognized auditing principles and best practices aligned with ISO 19011:2026 – Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems, helping organizations strengthen compliance, improve operational performance, and drive continual improvement.

Ce que vous apprendrez

1. 1.Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Code International de Gestion de la Sécurité (Code ISM), International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, and the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC, 2006) to effectively evaluate compliance with international maritime requirements.

2. Acquire the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on integrated internal audits in accordance with ISO 19011:2026 – Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems.

3. Apply risk-based auditing principles to identify non-conformities, evaluate the effectiveness of management systems, and promote continual improvement in safety, security, and maritime labour compliance.

4. Strengthen communication, leadership, and reporting skills to effectively engage with shipboard personnel, shore management, and senior leadership throughout the audit process.

5. Build the competence and confidence to lead integrated ISM, ISPS, and MLC internal audits that support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous organizational improvement.

Examen Final

Each chapter concludes with multiple-choice questions, followed by a final assessment. A passing score of 70% is required. The final assessment is entirely online, with no in-person classroom attendance necessary. A proctor will monitor you during the final assessment. A computer (not a tablet or Chromebook) with a webcam and reliable internet speed is required. A fee may apply for re-attempting the final assessment if you do not achieve the minimum passing score of 70%.
